A comfortable cruiser or day sailer.
Designed to carry 2 to 5 people day sailing, or 2 to 4 people cruising, the Grey Seal is at home in the open ocean as well as in somewhat protected waters.
|
Traditional white painted hull and decks, with cabin sides finshed bright.
|
Traditional style, modern construction.
The epoxy-glued overlapping planks of mahogony plywood, over laminated frames and backbone, make the Grey Seal very sea-worthy. With proper care, these boats should last a long time.
Where to next?

Easily trailered.
With a beam of only 7'9", the Grey Seal is easily trailered to your favorite cruising grounds. The cabin layout can be varied significantly, to accomodate your crew whether you are day sailing or on an extended cruise.
Several propulsion options.
Although designed to carry a auxiliary inboard engine, this particular version of the Grey Seal was built with a small outboard motor, secured within an engine well. The tiller is then used to steer the boat when under power.A strong sheer line displays her traditional character.

In a class all by itself.
